Experience the language of flowers through the salvaged beauty of blooms. Listen as they whisper their meanings. Floriography is fancy name for the ‘language of flowers’. This term originated in the Victorian Era when people used flowers and their symbolism to express their thoughts and feelings.
Infused with meaning and personality, a simple flower opens you up to an entire new language.

There are different jars you can choose: love, compassion, gratitude, friendship, or celebration. Each jar is full of dried petals (floral confetti, if you will) which, in the language of flowers, represent your sentiment.

In the love jar, you may find roses, peonies, alstroemeria, rosemary, carnations, chrysanthemums and more.
In the gratitude jar, you may find honeysuckle, hydrangeas, pink roses, peonies, chrysanthemums, rosemary, and more.
In the compassion jar, you may find peonies, roses, statice, carnations, hydrangeas, rosemary, and more.
In the friendship jar, you may find yellow roses, lisianthus, rosemary, stock, hydrangeas, and more.

The Language of Flowers collection is a collaboration between two mother and daughter businesses. Powered By Daisies and Connie McAllister's Flowers. Connie McAllister Flowers is a flower shop specializing in wedding/event flowers in Furlong, Pennsylvania. She has owned this flower shop for 35 years. Madison gifted her mom, Connie a book called 'The Language of Flowers' years ago for Christmas. It instantly became and remains her all time favorite book. This book is what led to the idea of our Language of Flowers and the inspiration behind the magic of this collection.
